Granite carving experience

Granite is a very challenging material for carving because of its hard texture and unique texture. Before carving, I will carefully observe the texture and structure of the stone, respect its natural characteristics, and follow the trend.

Because of its high hardness, carving must rely on professional tools, and the movements must be precise, patient, and not impatient. Every cut and every grind is a double test of technology and mentality.

In my creation, I pay more and more attention to combining the beauty of granite itself, so that the natural texture and design intention are integrated, and the work is more vital.

Carving granite is not only an artistic creation, but also a process of tempering the mind again and again. Every stone is a dialogue with nature and myself.
